About the Speaker
Prof. Phu-Ha Ho has experience of 30 year working as lectures and senior lecturer at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, specialized in Food Technology. She obtained PhD of Food Science in 2008 in The University of Newcastle, Australia. Her research interests are Health beneficial microorganisms, fermentation technology, food safety, probiotic foods and feeds. She is the author of more than 40 journal articles and book chapters; principal investigator of research projects in lactic acid bacteria, bacilli, yeasts and their application in food preservation and processing; development of foods and feeds for wellbeing and health care. She is co-author of a patent on production of dried soy yogurt containing health beneficial microorganism. Her career activities include international and regional collaborations, as well as industry projects on capacity building and food innovation.
