The 15th Asian Conference on Lactic Acid Bacteria (ACLAB 15) will be held in conjunction with the 2025 TALAB Annual Meeting, further enhancing the event's value. The conference program will feature keynote speeches, symposiums, and research paper presentations. This collaborative academic forum aims to enrich the conference agenda, attract more lactic acid bacteria researchers from around the world, and maximize the impact of hosting an international conference in Taiwan.
ACLAB 15 will take place from November 19th to 21st, 2025, at the Howard Civil Service International House. Our aim is to gather global experts to share cutting-edge research and clinical practice, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field. We anticipate the presence of approximately 350 esteemed scholars and experts from Taiwan and abroad. This event will be a major international academic conference in the Asia-Pacific region, placing Taiwan at the forefront of global lactic acid bacteria research.
With the conference theme“Roles of Lactic Acid Bacteria from Traditional Applications to an Innovative Future”. Asian Conference on Lactic acid bacteria (ACLAB) have long played vital roles in food fermentation, preservation, and human health. From traditional fermented foods to probiotics, their contributions have shaped cultures and supported gut and immune functions.
Today, advances in genomics and biotechnology are unlocking new applications, from functional foods and precision nutrition to gut research and novel therapeutic strategies.
Looking ahead, ACLAB hold great promise in addressing global challenges such as sustainable food production, antimicrobial resistance, personalized healthcare, and green biotechnology. ACLAB 15 will highlight this journey—bridging tradition with innovation—and showcase ACLAB’s expanding impact on health, industry, and society.
