About the Speaker

Prof. Cheng-Chih Hsu is an Associate Professor at National Taiwan University and the Founder and CEO of Leeuwenhoek Laboratories Co., Ltd. His research integrates medical mass spectrometry with gut microbiome metabolomic analyses to investigate how microbial metabolites affect human metabolic health and disease. Drawing on his expertise in analytical chemistry and microbial metabolomics, Dr. Hsu founded Leeuwenhoek Laboratories to develop microbiome-targeted products that promote health by enhancing gut ecology and restoring metabolic balance. His work bridges academic research and industrial innovation, advancing precision diagnostics and microbiome-based health solutions. Dr. Hsu has received numerous awards, including the Wu Ta-You Memorial Award and the Golden Ship Award for Innovative Services (2025).
