About the Speaker
Prof. Seyed Abbas Shojaosadati was born in 1958. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (Bioprocess Engineering) from Birmingham University, England in 1988. Currently he is working at the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. He published nearly 300 research articles in International peer-reviewed journals, patents and also 8 books. He was honored to receive awards including: Second Winner of 12th International Razi Medical Research, outstanding professor in Iran, outstanding Professor in Tarbiat Modares University, distinguished Professor in Chemical Engineering in 2013 by Iran Academy of Science, distinguished Biotechnologist in 2013 and 2016 by Iran biotechnology Festival.
