About the Speaker
Prof. Sin-Hyeog Im completed his Ph.D. in 2001 at the Department of Immunology, Weizmann Institute of Science, and subsequently undertook postdoctoral training until 2003 at Harvard Medical School. I established my independent lab in 2004 at the School of Life Sciences, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST). Since 2014, I've served as a Professor at the Department of Life Sciences at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea. Throughout my career, I've published approximately >160 articles in peer-reviewed journals and acquired about 30 patents. Currently, I hold the role of CEO at ImmunoBiome Inc. and serve as a senior editor or editorial board member of several journals, including Gut Microbes and Frontiers in Immunology.
